The Summer Physics Academy for High School Physics teachers is hosted annually by the UCR Department of Physics and Astronomy in partnership with the California Science Project. Each year, approximately 24 high school educators are selected to participate in the week long academy in which hands-on activities, pedagogy discussions, and research presentations allow educators to refresh their learning and network with other physics educators. The Summer Physics Teacher Academy has been hosted uninterrupted since 2008.
